Motherwell College has recently welcomed its first ever degree students, with a total of 12 embarking on a BA in Hospitality Management.

This is the first degree to be offered by the College, which until now has specialised in access and Higher National programmes of study.

Mario Vannini, Head of Department for Hospitality and Sport said: “We have been planning the launch of this degree for quite some time and I am delighted our first students are now here and raring to go.

He continued: “Many of our former students left the College with an HND and then travelled further afield to gain a degree. Now they can complete the BA in Motherwell, a more convenient and cost effective option”.

Motherwell College is nationally renowned for providing high quality training in Hospitality.

The three-year programme is validated by The Robert Gordon University and students have the option of studying full-time or part-time.

The BA in Hospitality Management is an interesting and exciting course and successful completion leads to a diverse range of employment opportunities globally.

Anyone wishing further information on the course should contact the College on 01698 232425 or visit www.motherwell.co.uk
