Shift Pattern: 4on/4off  - 10am - 21.00pm 

Salary: £28,500 + Benefits 

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR 

Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our  parcels team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first-class service with our team in Newbridge, this role is based on a basic 42-hour week working a 4on/4off basis. 

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR DUTIES

• Set-up and run parcel sortation teams on shift 
• Supervise parcel sortation team, ensuring productivity for parcels per hour and all associated KPI's are met
• Coach, mentor and monitor teams overall performance
• Fix and regenerate customers parcels 
• Manage full holiday rota for parcel sortation team
• Conduct performance reviews and manage all return to work meetings 
• De-brief of drivers ensuring processes are followed correctly
• Ensuring all parcel sortation paperwork is completed
• Basic administrative duties
• To implement the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
• To implement the Security Policy ensuring and maintaining a secure passage of goods for the customer
• Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management or the Shift Manager

REQUIREMENTS

1. An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
2. Experience of working in a transport/logistics environment
3. Able to react quickly to information, helping solve any challenges to routes
4. Experience using in-house transport management systems is an advantage
