Traffic Management Operative

Contraflow is currently recruiting for Traffic Management Operatives based at our Aberdeen depot. We offer permanent jobs contracted to a 40 hour week over 7 days. Traffic Management is a tough career choice, its outdoors in all weathers and the average working week is around 50-60 hours including frequent weekend work.

Role Involves

Your responsibility as a Traffic Management Operative will focus on working and helping with Traffic Management operations for a range of projects, with a strong emphasis on increasing productivity and ensuring high Health and Safety standards.

• Installing and maintaining various Traffic Management solutions

• Working in the loading and maintaining of equipment

• Driving to various locations

• Site maintenance

• Manual Control Traffic Lights

• Heavy lifting

Requirements

• You must have a drivers licence

• You must be 100% flexible for shift allocation

• You must be hard working and reliable

Pay

• Trainee Rates are based on NMW but you can progress quickly. Within 3-6 months to £12.65 p/h and within 12 months to £15.75 p/h (weekend rate)

• Can further progress based on attainment of qualifications
