Senior Financial Accountant

Your new company

One of Edinburgh's prominent public sector organisations is currently undergoing an exciting phase of transformation. With ambitious plans for substantial capital investment over the next five years, they are actively seeking an interim senior finance professional to play a pivotal role in driving essential changes throughout the organisation.

Your new role

As part of your role, you'll manage monthly financial accounts to ensure compliance with UK financial and statutory accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, creating board papers, and delivering detailed information to essential stakeholders within the organisation. Additionally, you'll have the chance to contribute to ad hoc projects and drive efficiency improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who possesses experience of overseeing projects of comparable scale within a large organisation. Strong organisational & communication skills are essential.

What you'll get in return

You will receive an excellent daily rate and benefit scheme. The daily rate will be between 250 - 300 per day,
and you will be working in a corporate, friendly working environment which can offer hybrid working patterns.
