About The College:
Moray College was founded as Elgin Technical College in 1971. It is an academic partner of the UHI Millennium Institute (UHI).

The College has about 7,000 students, and runs courses at all levels from introductory to degrees.

Courses run through the following Divisions
      • Business and Computing
      • Care and Social Science
      • Computing and Information Technology, Art and Skills for Life
      • Hospitality, Hairdressing, Beauty and Complementary Therapies
      • Science, Maths and Sport
      • Technology
Applying to Moray College
Because this College is a UHI partner, you apply through UCAS for courses at Higher National Certificate and above.

Support for learning
The Study Support Facility advises on study skills and can help with reading, writing or number skills.
The College has resources to give extra support to students with disabilities – physical, visual or hearing impairments, dyslexia and mental health problems.

Child care
The College Nursery cares for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, during term time.

Mature entrants
Mature students are welcome. You may not need the normal entry requirements.

Access courses
The College runs the Access courses in
      • Care – leading to Nursing or a Higher National course in Health Care or Social Care

      • Computing – leading to a Higher National course in Computing

      • Science or Environmental Degrees – leading to appropriate degree study
Part time study
There are part time day and evening courses, as well as distance and on-line learning courses.

Community courses
Outreach courses, mostly in IT, run in local communities including Aberlour, Buckie, Dufftown, Forres, Grantown-on-Spey, Keith, Kingussie, Lossiemouth and Nairn.
