About The College:
Clydebank College celebrated its 40th anniversary in February 2005. It started as a technical college, training apprentices for the shipyards and other industries.
The College has 2 campuses, in Clydebank and Dumbarton.
Its courses lead to qualifications including Highers, National Certificates, Scottish Vocational Qualifications, Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Higher National Diplomas.

There are some 9,000 students and 300 academic staff.
The College welcomes overseas students, who take English Language courses to prepare for higher education. Many then progress to degrees at one of the linked universities in the Glasgow area.
Support for learning
The Learning Skills Team supports any student having difficulty with learning. The BRITE Access Centre has new technology to help.
Student Services offer extra support for students with dyslexia, physical or sensory disabilities, or any other condition which may affect learning.
Child care
The Nursery at Clydebank takes children from 6 weeks to 5 years, during term.
Mature entrants
The College has many mature students returning to education or changing career.
Access courses
There are Access courses leading to HNC Early Years Education and to degrees in Humanities, Nursing and Social Work.
Part time study
Part time vocational and leisure courses run both day and evening, at Clydebank and Dumbarton.
There are flexible and open learning courses for those who find it difficult to attend college.
Community courses
Outreach courses run at over 60 venues in Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute.

There are Taster Days for S4 pupils, usually in June.
