demands of industry and business in Fife, elsewhere in Scotland and beyond,
Carnegie College is a dynamic organisation that stands in a pivotal position in
supporting the Scottish Executive strategy for a Smart Successful Scotland:
Because you want to improve your employability!
At Carnegie we have a
range of courses designed to expand your skills and help you help you move up
the career ladder or change direction. Carnegie College is aware that while you
might want to update your skills and knowledge, it is not always feasible to
enrol on a full-time course. We have therefore increased the flexibility of our
course delivery, offering study through one or more of the following routes:
Stand Alone Units
By studying at unit level, you do not need to
enrol on a full named award course but can select individual units to gain the
skills and knowledge that you need. Stand alone units can be accumulated to gain
a full named award at various levels. It's that flexible.
Named Awards
Whether you are looking for promotion, a new job or a
career change our nationally recognised qualifications are designed to get you
where you want to be.
Short Courses
The college offers a variety of short courses, which
are designed to ensure that you keep up to date with the latest skills and
legislative changes required in the workplace.
Learning with Carnegie won't take your life away.
Whatever your
particular reason for opting for part time study, for most people it's
overriding benefits that enable you 'learn and earn' at the same time. It allows
you to fit your studies around other professional and personal commitments and
within reason it gives you the choice of when and where to study. At Carnegie we
are committed to making learning as accessible as possible for all our
