About The College:
Cardonald College is an enterprising and innovative college, serving the community in southwest Glasgow.

People of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, study in the main College and in the Greater Pollok Community Learning Centre (GPCLC) in Priesthill.

The College offers qualifications at all levels, through 3 faculties
      • Arts, Humanities and Design

      • Care, Sport and Continuing Learning

      • Technology, Business and Industry
There are some 10,000 students, 2,500 full time. The College encourages participation by members of the ethnic communities.

Support for learning
There is support in Key Skills for all students – including spelling, grammar, number work, essay writing and study skills.
There is extended learning support and practical help for students with special needs and physical or sensory disabilities.

Child care
The nursery takes children aged 3 to 5. The after-school service caters for older children and picks-up from the local primary school.

Mature entrants
Mature entrants are welcome and may be accepted without the normal entry requirements.

Access courses
There are Access courses for higher education in Health and Biological Sciences and Humanities.

Part time study
Part time courses are run in College (day and evening) and in the GPCLC.
The flexible learning unit is open to the public.
There are open and distance learning courses in a limited number of subjects.
