A one year full-time course designed for advanced level learners and native speakers of Gaelic whose aim is to increase their fluency and accuracy in the written and spoken language. Within the course, there are opportunities for students to widen their knowledge of history and traditional culture, and to analyse the use of Gaelic in the media.

SQA passes in 5 different subjects of which 1 must be at Higher Grade.(preferably including Higher Gaelic) and at least 4 Standard Grades.

Other suitable candidates may be admitted at the discretion of the College subject to reasonable expectation that the candidate will be able to fulfil the objectives of the course and can demonstrate competence in Gaelic at the required admission level.
